About

Pink

Pink is a color of compassion and nurturing. This symbol of understanding, love, peace, and patience reminds us of the care to take with our world, our loved ones, and most importantly ourselves.

It is also amazingly refreshing color. Pink is youthful, fun, and exciting. There’s a reason millennial pink is here to stay.

Petrichor

One of those often forgotten archaic words, petrichor is the pleasant, earthy, and slightly sweet scent produced after a rainfall on dry earth.

Petrichor was chosen for the name of this blog because it has an immense power to slow down our lives and inspire introspection. Sometimes, the most wonderful things in life have passed us by before we even realize how blessed we are to have experienced them.

These Ramblings

Pink & Petrichor is based on the misadventures and musings of one young woman. Pink & Petrichor is my thinking place aimed to entertain and educate, sharing lessons I often learned the hard way. This blog is an exercise in creativity and vulnerability, and I hope you find something in these ramblings with which you connect and that you enjoy.

The Author

My name is Gracie. I’m a grad school drop out with a passion for reading and literature. I love to write and have been honing this craft since I was 6 years old. I love trying new things, whether that’s stopping by the new Game of Thrones pop up bar or learning Japanese.

Alongside Maisie, my rescued bull terrier, I live a life that is a little bit more than messy, but still very blessed. I am doing my best to make choices that help myself grow. I’m making mistakes and learning lessons as I go.
